The New Zealand Bloodstock annual Ready to Run sale realised record figures, carried by significant levels of purchasing from Asia. Although a sale geared towards the colt market, two MWB fillies were able to shine. 
Lot 175, a Pins filly from the Grosvenor mare, Libre, was the top priced filly, having being signed for by Victorian agent Robert Roulston at $180,000. This filly was purchased privately by MDJ Bloodstock through MWB earlier this year for a low five figure sum.  
MDJ Bloodstock had further success with another MWB purchased filly, in Lot 333, by Flying Spur from Voregal. This filly was purchased at the Sydney Easter sale in conjunction with Badgers Bloodstock UK. She was knocked down to Mr Kevin Kickman from Christhurch for $70,000.
