Exciting Spring Filly for Hills
The Shinko King filly Bloody Mary has recorded one milestone for the new training partnership of Graham Richardson and Jason Bridgman and will attempt another next month.
Bloody Mary followed up a stylish trials win at Te Awamutu last month when producing a most impressive performance when winning her debut at Matamata last week, in the hands of Mark Hills.
The win was the first for the Richardson - Bridgman partnership and provided she acquits herself well in her next start she will head to Hastings on September 23 where she will attempt to become the first stakeswinner for the new combination in the Gr II Highview Stakes, the first leg of the NZ Bloodstock Filly Of The Year series.
"She's a natural runner and I think she's up to running in the Highview," said Richardson.
"She will have her next start at Rotorua on September 2 in a three-year-old 76 1200 metres and she should be hard to beat."
