One Love (NZ) (Danasinga x Jackie o' by Centaine) joined Dorabella (NZ) (Postponed) at the top of the New Zealand Bloodstock 'Southern Filly of the Year' table on Sunday, after an impressive win in the Listed New Zealand Bloodstock Insurance Stakes (1400m) at Wingatui.

Having set a genuine pace throughout for jockey Hayden Tinsley, it was a case of 'catch me if you can,' when the pair kicked well clear turning for home.

Grace Park (NZ) (Danske x Stella Stargazer by Volksraad) put in another honest race effort to finish two-and-a-half lengths in second place, with race favourite Tantalise (NZ) (Postponed x Amora by Amyntor) one-and-a-half lengths back in third position.

One Love (NZ) was bred by Andre Galvin, who is among the owners of the filly along with B D Galvin & M L Pugh.

The smart Danasinga (AUS) (Danehill) filly has gone on to record three wins from seven career starts and is the fourth winning foal from as many to race for her dam, Jackie O'(NZ).

MWB purchased One Love's half brother by O'Reilly out of the paddock in a private deal last year. He has shown a huge amount of ability with his trainer Lance Noble in Matamata, and looks destined to make a similar impression when produced.
