LITTLE TAKES SHINE TO PINS STOCK
22 Mar 2007
Victorian trainer Colin Little, has more reason than most to enjoy the progeny of the Waikato Stud stallion, Pins, entering his stable. He is afterall the trainer of Pins' best performer to date in El Segundo. However it was another Pins product that brought a smile to his face last weekend.
New stable recruit, Pinsemtoit (PIns x Libre), produced a top effort to win fresh up in open mares company at Moonee Valley over 1200m. Although her first start-and win-for Little, Pinsemtoit has now taken her record to seven wins from sixteen starts, having been trained by Lee Freedman.
MWB purchased Libre, the dam of Pinsemtoit, in foal to Pins at the New Zealand Bloodstock Mares Sale, for $14,000.
