About Michael Wallace Bloodstock
Michael Wallace Michael has worked within the bloodstock industry his entire life, much of which was spent at the Wallace family’s property Ardsley Stud in Masterton, New Zealand.

Developed in 1971, by renowned veterinary practitioner Jim Wallace Snr, Ardsley has produced many topline gallopers including Balmuse, Cent Home, Kip, Bureaucracy, Royal Magic, Lord Tridan, Ballet Society, Studebaker, Acushla Marie, and stallions including Roi Lear and Lord Ballina. It was in Michael’s early days, working with his Grandfather and Father, that his understanding of horses was developed.

After a four year period gaining a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Finance and Management from the University of Otago, Michael made the choice to follow his desire and develop a full time profession within the industry.
